The Team
Hello!
Hi there— I’m Corey Scholibo, and I'm passionate about initiating and supporting the creation of companies that bring about significant changes in the marketplace. With extensive expertise in strategic operations, product development, sales, and marketing, I am dedicated to establishing businesses that not only drive innovation and disrupt traditional norms but also champion environmental sustainability, enhance visibility for marginalized communities, and inspire positive shifts in human behavior.
In today's fast-paced digital age, it's easy to get caught up in the constant stream of social media content. But have you ever stopped to consider the impact of this on your mental health?
Moderating your social media intake can have a profound effect on your overall well-being. By taking a step back and being mindful of the time you spend scrolling, you can reduce feelings of anxiety and comparison. Instead of being bombarded with unrealistic portrayals of perfection, you can focus on cultivating a healthier mindset.
When you limit your exposure to the curated highlight reels of others, you give yourself the space to appreciate your own journey and accomplishments. This shift in perspective can lead to increased self-esteem and a more positive self-image.
Not only that, but reducing social media consumption can free up valuable time for activities that truly nourish your mind and body. Whether it's spending time with loved ones, engaging in a hobby, or simply practicing mindfulness, you'll find that your overall happiness and contentment improve when you prioritize real-world experiences over virtual ones.
So, take the reins on your mental health, download Dayo, and make a conscious effort to moderate your social media intake. Your well-being is worth it.
Hey!
Hi I’m Patrick Triato — Co-Founder of Dayo, Product designer and Engineer. Over the course of my career I’ve published over 45 patents, sucessfully built and sold a company, and thrive in the messy middle.
As a father of two young girls, I wanted to create a positive and viable solution for the extractive and wild west that is social media. Spending excessive time on social media can have detrimental effects on mental and emotional well-being. The constant exposure to curated, idealized versions of others' lives can lead to feelings of inadequacy, jealousy, and low self-esteem.
The addictive nature of social media can result in decreased productivity, disrupted sleep patterns, and increased anxiety. Additionally, excessive social media use may contribute to a sedentary lifestyle, leading to physical health issues.
Living in Oregon, we can’t help but to want to balance social media consumption with real-life adventures and activities, and Dayo has increased the IRL time of my personal social life in a lasting impactufl way.
